People of all ages call me Grissi. I'm a little different in this world of cookie cutter people, and I have also been told I'm very creative. I make hemp jewelry, patch works, hats, I paint and write poetry, and I love my tunes. The Grateful Dead is my favorite, along with Phish, Rusted Root, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, DMB, Blues Traveler, and any one else who fits in among those lines. I love to go to festivals in the summer and hang out with the people who are like me, as well as meet other people of other cultures, who have other interests as well. I am a big nature buff too. I love to watch wild life, and I love to spend time at the beach or lying in a field somewhere just thinking. I love the peacefulness of Mother Nature.

I love to write. I have been writing poetry for about three years consistently now. It is just something I picked up when I had so many feelings flowing and no where to go with them. I also explain what others mean to me through my writings, because it is easier for me that way. I am also a big artist type I guess if you want to label me. I draw, paint, sketch in about any medium you can think of. I have loved art ever since I was real young.

I love my friends. My best friends in life are the ones always there for me. I have my snowboarding buddies, Madz, Kate, and Bech. I have my artist friend Pam, who is the most talented artist that I have ever come across. You know you are! I have my best friend ever, Heidi, who has seriously kept me going and who has been there and believed in me through everything that has come my way. These people are like my family. Through out the year I travel with these people, stay at their houses, and just get to enjoy the times spent and make new memories. If it wasn't for these guys, I don't know what I'd do with myself. I'm pretty much a loner as it is, and without them, I'd be real lonely. And one more friend, is my dog Snickers. I just love that cute little thing.
